CCSC recorded a win in their SLYSA league debut. A flurry of second half goals and stout defense secured the win. Lindsay (1) recorded CCSC’s first ever SLYSA league goal after a beautiful assist into the box from Liv. The goal scoring opened up in the second half with goals by Averie (1) on a penalty kick, Penélope (1), Natalie (1), Adi (1), and Liv (2). Liv led the team in goals (2) and assists (3).
An early save from goalkeeper Lydia at the beginning of the match set the tone for the defense for the rest of the afternoon. The rest of the tough defense was thanks to defenders Lindsay, Averie, Mica, Maisie, and Aliza).
